Equal Opportunities, Inclusion and Diversity in the Classroom
Course Duration: 12 hours - 3 hours
This module explores issues related to inclusion and diversity in the classroom. Additionally, it explores the Rights of Children (United Nations Charter) and their real-life implications when considering notions such as religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity and politics. Furthermore, this module presents the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a comprehensive teaching model that gives educators the flexibility to personalise learning.

During this module, our students will:
Learn all about children's rights.
Learn how to implement the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in the classroom.
Identify ways how to put into practice the notions of equality, diversity and inclusion.
Learn how to collaborate with other professionals to promote these values in the classroom.
Determine the theoretical and practical aspects of differentiated teaching.
