Research has developed into a tool for transformation and experimentation.
This module serves as a summative assessment of the whole course. Participants will use the skills developed, and the knowledge acquired, to produce a piece of academic research.
The dissertation allows our students to research a topic relating to students with special needs. Via this dissertation, participants will continue to comprehend that teaching should be built on evidence-based strategies.

During this module, our students will:

Write a literature review on a specific topic.

Analyse case studies from an academic and professional point of view.

Write objective observations, taking into account the physical, cognitive and socio-emotional perspectives.

Interpret these observations and use existing literature and research to support conclusions.

Use qualitative and quantitative research methods.
