Award in Performance Management - (4 ECTS) – Level 6
Course Duration: 20 hours - 3 hours
To be successful, organisations need to make sound, evidence-based decisions. Employees' collective and individual performances need to be taken into account when making such decisions. Our students will learn what performance appraisal is, how productivity is measured, and how to motivate underperforming employees.
During this module, our students will:
Identify ways to promote a positive work environment that encourages high performance.
Define motivation and use this definition to encourage employees and teams.
Adapt their management style according to the employee’s needs.
Set and communicate Key Performance Indicators.
Identify the best approach when it comes to providing feedback and criticism.
Learn how to be assertive when addressing employees.
Conduct a mock performance appraisal.
