Course Duration: 12 hours
Workplace bullying is defined as the persistent pattern of mistreatment with the intention of mentally or physically damaging an individual. There are different forms of bullying, including but not limited to denying access to resources, stealing or taking credit for another individual’s work, toxic emails, flaunting superior status and impeding someone’s work performance.
Commonly, a bully has a lot of personal issues and a personal history of being a bully/being bullied. Repeated bullying in the workplace negatively impacts the victim’s attitude towards work. The individual is demotivated, ends up taking a lot of sick leave to distance himself/herself from the bully and will probably resign.
This course is intended to make our students aware of workplace bullying's devastating consequences and how to promote a positive company culture that doesn't tolerate it.
