Introduction to Child Development (0-11 years)
Course Duration: 9 hours - 3 hours
This module focuses on the main theories of child development. These explore the physical, psycho-social and cognitive development of children from 0 to 11 years old. This knowledge is useful since it allows professional LSEs to recognise any ‘gaps’ between 'normal' and 'delayed' development. With this information in hand, the LSE can adapt activities according to the child’s capabilities.
