The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is an Erasmus+ initiative that unites participants from diverse countries, cultures, and academic backgrounds for short, intensive learning experiences. Held from 20–24 April 2026, the Malta Leadership Institute (MLI), together with partner colleges and universities across Europe and Africa, hosted a dynamic programme centred on global learning, teamwork, and cultural awareness.

This edition welcomed 46 students and 4 lecturers from Spain, Romania, Ghana, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, and Lithuania, representing institutions such as Kauno kolegija / Kaunas College, Collegium Da Vinci, Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava, Thomas More institutions, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, and IES Trassierra / IES El Trassierra. Their diverse academic backgrounds enriched the programme and strengthened its multicultural spirit.

The BIP combined in‑person workshops with virtual collaboration, enabling participants to explore themes such as cultural identity and awareness, intercultural communication, team‑building in diverse environments, and European values. On the final day, participants delivered their group presentations, showcasing the insights, reflections, and practical learning they gained throughout the programme.
