Course Overview

Intro

This MQF Level 7 Award (15 ECTS) focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation within established firms. 

It equips students with the necessary skills to identify, analyse and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. 

They will learn how to set up and run innovation projects (on their own or as part of a group) while taking the company’s values, mission, ambitions and business environment into account. 

Overall competences

During this module, our students will:

• Integrate knowledge from various sources and make judgements about the challenges that innovators working in a corporate setting face. 
• Examine how corporate culture, structure and processes can both limit and enhance a company’s capacity to innovate.
• Integrate knowledge from new and interdisciplinary fields to keep themselves up to date with the innovative strategies that are currently being developed. 
• Manage a company’s innovation strategy and tailor the strategy to the company’s needs.
• Analyse how different leadership strategies and management approaches facilitate/hinder innovation and entrepreneurship.
