Course Overview

Intro

The MQF Level 7 Award in Entrepreneurship: Experience and Perspective (15 ECTS) provides the learner with the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully develop solution-oriented products and services under considerable time constraints and with very limited resources.
The topics covered in this module are useful for those who are currently setting up new ventures as well as those who work in established companies.

Overall competences

During this module, our students will:

• Learn all about the underlying principles of corporate firms and family businesses, including the viability of businesses, new business proposals, and opportunities within existing businesses, entrepreneurial management and growth through strategic plans.
• Integrate knowledge from various sources and design a start-up business plan.
• Demonstrate the ability to apply the principles of developing pro forma financial statements, new venture financing, growth financing, and growth financing for existing businesses.
• Be able to apply the principles of risk assessment when reviewing business plans.
