Course Duration: On Request
Training is defined as teaching or developing skills to improve expertise in a particular area.
Training the trainee typically involves the trainer, who acts like a coach and a mentor, and the trainee - also referred to as the apprentice. The terms can apply to the same person when self-directed learning takes place.
There are several advantages to an apprenticeship. These include earning a salary while learning and attracting potential full-time employees. However, the development cost is high, and many a time, women and minorities have limited access to top apprenticeships.
On the other hand, self-directed learning has a good number of benefits, such as learning at your pace and developing self-discipline. On the downside, the development period is longer, and the trainees may find it challenging to stay motivated.
