
Clare Bezzina studied at the University of Malta and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (P.G.C.E).
For 15+ years, she has been teaching PSCD and working as a guidance teacher at different secondary school.
She also worked as a Psychology Officer with the Social Welfare Development Programme (now known as APPOGG).
Her role included developing and facilitating different group work programmes for children whose parents were referred to SWDP.
She facilitated study unit sessions with B.Ed (Honours), B Psy(Hons), BA/B Comm(Psychology main area) students, was involved in
teacher training within the B.Ed. (Hons) degree and PGCE and teaching practice tutoring.
Amanda was also a member of the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Committee for Personal and Social Development credits within the B.Ed (Hons) and B.Psy (Hons) programme.
This involved creating, designing and developing credits, and monitoring, evaluating and developing courses.
