
David Farrugia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and Philosophy from the University of Malta.
He went on to earn a Master Degree in Teaching and Learning with a focus on early childhood and primary education.
His interests include resources for learning, digital technology, social relations and home and school environments.
David’s research focuses on how a student’s academic achievement and
performance is influenced by the environment at home and at school.
David is currently working as a primary school teacher and a lecturer at Malta Leadership Institute. His lectures revolve around philosophical and historical developments in education and policies and philosophy within the National Curriculum Framework.
David also delivers lectures on principles and philosophy of ethics, ethical dilemmas and values in education.
